3rd Edition of Kwita Izina Cycling Challenge Slated to Run from June 11-12

This event will be organized in partnership with Rwanda Cycling Federation and will be used as a strong tool to raise awareness both at national level as well and the international scene as it has been incorporated onto the calendar of UCI (International Cycling Union)

There will be several routes as part of its diversification program. Community will play big role of evaluating and proposing the best rider who will be awarded by RDB and community representatives.

The message of the day will be the role and contribution of community development in sustained conservation.

So far, ten teams from Rwanda, Kenya, Eritrea, Tanzania, Uganda, Morocco, Algeria and Burundi have confirmed participation.

Abraham Ruhumuriza won last year’s event but faces stiffer competition this year from South African based Adrien Niyonshuti among others.
